How to measure for your curtains
Simply measure the length and width of your window or existing track following our guide below:
A = Track Width
Measure the window frame from edge to edge and allow enough length at each side for the curtains to stack back clear of the window. Allowing 200mm at each side of the window would be a fairly standard stack allowance (D) back length.
If you are using existing tracks
If you have an existing track simply measure the width of your track. Measure the full length of the track from end to end. If you have a curtain pole with finials, measure the distance from inside of finial to inside of finial.
B = Drop height or curtain length
Measure the distance from the top of the track to the floor, or where you want the curtain to finish, which might be a window sill or other feature.
You will need to decide which drop you want from our range and install your track to the correct height. Our curtains come in drops of 2200mm or 2400mm. We recommend installing your track at least 100 – 150mm above your window. This creates the illusion of height in the room as your eye is drawn above the window.
